Chartered Civil & Structural Engineer with 30+ years in construction and design. 18 years in engineering consultancy, 10 years self-employed, and 7 years lecturing civil engineering. MSc BIM Management (Distinction). Research focus on rule-based BIM checking and the application of generative AI to structural engineering workflows. Currently undertaking ad-hoc voluntary work: Roade Food Bank (Oct 2020 to May 2021); Food4Heros (Dec 2020); SJA since April 2021; RVS since March 2020. Hobbies: diving, gym, travelling, technology and DIY.
